Get ready to unleash your inner scientist while exploring the best playground in the Southeast. Join University of Memphis' CAESAR for free hands-on science activities monthly on Saturdays from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at the playground in Tom Lee Park. It’s scientifically proven fun for all ages!

- Saturday, March 8 - Kick off Groundwater Awareness Week by making your own edible aquifer in a cup. 
- Saturday, April 12 - Celebrate Children and Nature Awareness Month by crafting a water cycle bracelet. 
- Saturday, May 10 - It’s Wetlands Month! Explore a watershed model and play an estuary game. This event is held at River Garden (51 Riverside Dr) due to festivals in Tom Lee Park. 
- Saturday, June 21 - Celebrate National Rivers Month with a lesson on streams. 
- Saturday, July 12 - Did you know that July is Smart Irrigation Month? Put your skills to the test with a fun water conservation game.
