Greenbelt Park

More than a mile-long, Greenbelt Park is a natural flood plain that changes with the seasons. Lower Greenbelt Park is usually underwater from late winter to early spring. When accessible, Lower Greenbelt Park is a great place for picnicking or running and walking along unpaved trails. Bikers and strollers can find a paved pathway in Upper Greenbelt Park on the east side of the park.

Walk through a scale model of the Mississippi, enjoy views of the Mississippi River and the Downtown Memphis skyline, and get your picture taken with the 50 foot MEMPHIS sign at Mud Island Park

Fourth Bluff Park

At the edge of downtown Memphis, Fourth Bluff Park overlooks River Garden and offers shade, picnic tables, movable furniture and expansive views of the Hernando de Soto bridge and Wolf River Harbor. Be sure to visit in the spring when the park becomes the location for Grizzlies Playoff Watch Parties.

The beautiful, natural River Garden includes native meadow plantings, bench swings, a dining and events pavilion, an all-ages playground and the “Fourth Cup” snack shack overlooking the Wolf River Harbor.

Tom Lee Park

Welcome Center and Courts - 8am to 8pm

Tom Lee Park is Memphis’ signature riverfront park. 31-acres of natural riverfront landscape imbued with the spirit and legacy of Tom Lee, the park includes scenic pathways, a misting fountain, more than 1,000 native trees, a stunning playground, sports and fitness areas, public art, an outdoor classroom and more.

Cobblestones

Coming soon

Cobblestones is a 3-acre park directly along the Mississippi River. These cobblestones are the last remaining complete and functioning stone-paved landing on any United States waterfront. It is currently under Memphis River Parks management.

This quaint pocket of green has a beautiful north-facing view of the Memphis skyline and River District and some of the most charismatic trees in the Memphis River Parks system.

Big River Crossing bridge spanning Memphis, TN and West Memphis, AR

Big River Crossing

At nearly a mile in length, Big River Crossing is the longest public pedestrian and cyclist bridge across the Mississippi. One of the top things to do in Memphis, BRX features breathtaking views of the Memphis skyline, Arkansas floodplains, and Mississippi River.

Chickasaw Heritage Park

Containing two historic Chickasaw ceremonial mounds, this park lets you really kick back across its large, grassy lawn or get into a game with it’s ball field and basketball court.

E.H. Crump Park

This small pocket park offers up-close views of the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge and wide views out across the Mississippi River.

Named in honor of the Martyrs of the 1878 yellow fever epidemic, this park includes unique public art and shaded benches with a great view of the Mighty Lights on the both bridges.

Martin luther king, Jr. Riverside park

Summer: open 6am - 8pm, Winter: open 6am - 6pm

Martin Luther King, Jr. Riverside Park has a large area of 297.32 acres. This park includes a marina, playground, lake, ball field, 2 outdoor tennis courts, 1.2-mile paved walking trail, restrooms, benches, and 3 rental pavilions with picnic tables, grills, and benches.
