Join poet and University of Memphis creative writing professor Marcus Wicker for a free writing workshop series on Saturdays, February 21 through March 28, from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. at Beale Street Landing. Open to all adults interested in writing poetry or short fiction.
Participants in the first three classes (2/21, 2/28, 3/7) will be guided through a generative writing prompt based on a provided poem or piece of short prose. The last three classes (3/14, 3/21, 3/28) will include workshops of participant writing where the group is encouraged to share and receive constructive feedback.
