Historic. Current.

Memphis River Parks Partnership is the nonprofit organization charged with the management and activation of five miles of riverfront parks and public spaces in Downtown Memphis.

The organization has raised over $80 million on behalf of the City of Memphis, transforming undeveloped greenspaces and flat lands with a bold vision brought to life by projects like the world-renowned, 30-acre Tom Lee Park renovation and the Memphis Flyway, the only free, ADA-accessible observation deck on the Mississippi River.

Recognizing the power of our parks both as a tourism destination and local amenity, we work daily to sustain our shared spaces and ensure that our operations are fully resourced so that these investments may thrive for years to come.

Our river parks are a place for inspiration, entertainment, and education. They are a living, breathing space that carries the current of the city of Memphis. With amenities and access points for every type of visitor, you can find a trail, a playground, a court, a class, and a comfortable seat within reach.

Our river parks are designed to be explored and to encourage a new point of view. Home to major art and music festivals, our parks also invite Memphians to experience free programming, from fitness and recreation to family education.

You can feel the richness of our riverfront along our trails, under the tree canopies, from the tip of the Memphis Flyway to the top of the bluff. Our natural ecosystem is a treasure that we foster daily with diligence.

Whether you’re visiting for the first time, or returning for your daily run or weekly ritual, our role is to make every interaction with our riverfront one worth repeating and sharing.
